Michael Jordan gave a wonderful speech when he was invited for Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The speech was indeed emotional but can be of great importance not only to young people but also to the older ones. I mean, i don’t need to tell you what Michael Jordan stands for in the world of basketball…right. He is the one..perhaps the only one.

So here’s a Jordan Hall Of Fame Speech Transcript:-

“Jerry’s not here,” he said. “I don’t know who’d invite him. I didn’t. I hope he understands it goes a long way. He’s a very competitive person. I was a very competitive person. He said organizations win championships. I said, ‘I didn’t see organizations playing with the flu in Utah. I didn’t see it playing with a bad ankle.’

“Granted, I think organizations put together teams, but at the end of the day, the team’s got to go out and play. I think the players win the championship, and the organization has something to do with it, don’t get me wrong. But don’t try to put the organization above the players.”

“I was in Chicago in 1994 … and at this time I had no thoughts of coming back and playing the game of basketball,” Jordan said. “Bryon Russell came over to me and said, ‘Why’d you quit? You know I could guard you. If I ever see you in a pair of shorts …’

“When I did come back in 1995 and we played Utah in ‘96, I’m at the center circle and Bryon Russell is standing next to me. I said, ‘You remember the [comments] you made in 1994 about, ‘I think I can guard you, I can shut you down, I would love to play against you? Well, you’re about to get your chance.’ “

He called out Thomas, Gervin and Johnson for allegedly freezing him out at the All-Star Game in his rookie season.

“You guys gave me the motivation to say, ‘You know what? Evidently I haven’t proved enough to these guys. I’ve got to prove to these guys that I deserve what I got at this level,’ ” he said.

Also, he gave thanks to his fans, supporters and the Chicago Bulls community..

“They took me in,” he said. “And I had to earn my keep. They believed in me. I believed in them. That marriage lasted up until now. I will always, always have the deepest warmth for the city of Chicago and the support I’ve received from them.

“Other than what I’ve done, I can’t give back any more. And I wouldn’t ask for any more. I just want them to be able to remember the things I contributed to the city. And hopefully at some point down the road, they can have another championship just so they can compare the two. I wouldn’t be standing here without their support without a doubt.”

Melanie Oudin might be doing very well at the US Open but when it comes to staying in a hotel, she actually ran out of her luck when her reservation ran out and Marriott Hotel in Manhattan, politely told her to leave the hotel.

Then her Management Company got her a booking at a new hotel immediately which was Intercontinental Hotel as one of the sports magazines reported. As AP reported, “the Oudins have been waking up together when the alarm goes off, then going their separate ways: Melanie hops in a courtesy car provided for players; her mom waits in line for a shuttle bus to the tournament site in Queens.”

Obviously her management company was not too happy about Marriott, and they said,”Obviously, we will not be sending any of our players back to that hotel [the Marriott].” Wow what can we say??? Marriott’s loss is Intercontinental gain.

Well Our very own party girl Kim Kardashian was in a party mode as she hosted a grand opening of Opium nightclub in the Hollywood Seminole Hard Rock Hotel last weekend.

The “Keeping up with the Kardashians”  hottie coupled with her boyfriend Reggie Bush smashed a guitar for the opening ceremony where her brother Rob Kardashian was also present.

Kim also talked to Usmagazine about her plans for Easter Celebrations. She said,”I will be in New Orleans with Reggie! We are going to a Hornets basketball game to see his friend Chris Paul play and then all decorate Easter eggs!”

Kim Kardashian was spotted alongside her longtime boyfriend Reggie Bush to inaugurate Wet Republic pool at the MGM Grand Hotel And Casino on March 28, 2009.

The couple was also joined by their friends Brittany Gastineau and Frankie Delgado while giving photographs for the promotion of the pool.

Kim Kardashian caught her flight back to Los Angeles as she was supposed to attend Perez Hilton’s birthday bash later in the evening.

The New York Knicks guard Nate Robinson has beaten defending champion Dwight Howard at the NBA Slam Dunk Contest 2009.

The Associated Press Reported,”Nate Robinson tugged on Superman’s cape — and won. The diminutive New York Knicks guard beat defending champion Dwight Howard of Orlando in an electrifying slam dunk contest on Saturday night, winning 52 percent of fans’ votes.

Clad in an all-green Knicks uniform with green shoes, Robinson used Howard as a prop in the final round, springboarding over the 6-foot-11 center to jam.

“Dwight was a great sport letting me dunk over him,” said Robinson, who also won in 2006.”

Nate Robinson won the Slam Dunk for the second time this year as he has won it in 2006 the last time. Interestingly Robinson is NBA’s one of the shortest players standing only at 5′8″ inches(173cm).

Well Kim Kardashian is in Miami recently and Kim is definitely making the most of it. Kim was again spotted in a two piece black bikini in an amazingly playful mood on November 16.

Kim Kardashian celebrated her birthday at an unusual place and that was a hospital. Yes that’s right as she was in hospital as her boyfriend football star, Reggie Bush has undergone knee surgery and recovering for the same in the hospital. Reggie Bush was hospitalized after his knee got injured in Sunday’s game against the North Carolina Panthers.

The Keeping up with the Kardashian star wrote on her blog,”I was supposed to be in London right now with Reggie but we had to cancel our trip. In [Sunday’s] game against the [North] Carolina Panthers, Reggie injured his left knee and needed surgery.”

“When I saw him limp off the field my heart dropped,” explained Kim. But “He is recovering great and will be back on the field soon,” she adds.

In related news, on of Kim’s favorite photographers gave her a tribute by posting a picture of hers on his blog. Troy Jenson posted her photo on her blog saying she is his muse….:-)

Well Tamara Ecclestone, the famous UK Socialite and heiress and daughter of Formula-1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has recently posed for PETA in a a checkered flag for cruelty against Animals.

Tamara said,”I enjoy going to fashion shows and I enjoy seeing what’s new and fantastic but I just don’t understand how fur is necessarily fashionable,” said the 23-year-old model, who’s better known for her for her TV-presenting roles on Channel 4 and Sky Sports.”

“I just think it’s terrible to harm living animals all in the name of vanity,” she added. “I think it’s completely unnecessary, and I think that once you’ve seen the ways in which lots of these animals are killed and how brutal and grotesque and unnecessary it is, I think that people would automatically choose not to wear fur.”

Also Tamara has the distinction of joining famous names from fashion world such as Naomi Campbell, Pamela Anderson, Christina Applegate, Jenna Jameson and more recently Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard when was voted one of the UK’s most eligible women by FHM magazine.

Tamara said, “I would rather go naked than wear fur.”
