Slumdog Millionaire almost singlehandedly swept the 81st Annual Academy Awards this time around with 8 OSCARS in major categories like Best Director, Best Film, Best Original Score, Cinematography, Film editing, Original Score, Original Song, Sound mixing and Best Adapted screenplay Out of 10 Possible nominations it has got.

It was a day that belonged to the Team of Slumdog Millionaire as it was evident when Christian Colosan the producer of the movie invited all the crew Members on stage while accepting the award for The Best Film.

Kate Winslet Won the Oscar for Best Actress for her role in the film “The Reader”, while Sean Penn won the Oscar for the Best Actor for his role in the film “Milk” and Penelope Cruz did the same for her role in “Vicki Cristina Barcelona.”

Even if there was almost sub zero temperature that didn’t deter Halle from donning a skimpy outfit and give a shot to the perfection.

Reese Witherspoon will be joining hands with director James L. Brooks for his new comedy, titled “How Do You Know?”  I don’t know how however her Cameron Crowe comedy has pushed back to the July due to some issues and that’s why Reese will be doing this film first ahead of Crowe’s. AnnaLynne is shooting for the “90210″ episodes which are going to be aired in New Year, however she already told press some of the things.

She said,”We’re going to find out some really, really, really bad stuff about my brother. It’s going to be a crazy reveal of certain things in his past.  There’s a possibility that Josh Henderson’s character isn’t our brother at all.”

“The Spirit” is directed by Frank Miller includes the cast and crew likes of Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes and Samuel L Jackson as the movie revolves around a Denny Colt who returns from the beyond as The Spirit to fight bad forces in the city.

Tom Cruise is back on msnbc Today’s Show once again. More than three years after Tom called Matt Lauer as “Gilb”, he said on Monday’s Today show that he “came across arrogant.”

Tom Cruise was on the show to promote his new film “Valkyrie”, based on the real life story of a foiled assassination plot attempted on Adolf Hitler’s Life. However along the way he talked on many other topics excluding his film.

“After looking at it, it’s not what I had intended,” Cruise told Lauer. “That’s one of those things that you go, ‘I could have handled that better.’ I didn’t communicate it the way that I wanted to communicate it. That’s not who I am.”

Cruise was a bit skeptical when asked questions about Scientology. He clarified, “I just think there’s a time and a place for it,” he said. “But when people are tuning in to hear about my movie, that’s what I’m here to talk about it.”

Tom Cruise also said that he felt thrilled after reading the script of his upcoming film “Valkyrie.” I hope the audience feels the same way after watching the film, Mr. Cruise.
