President Barack Obama was on Letterman on Monday Night and the whole talk show revolved around two topics racism and Healthcare and there was amazing chemistry (sens of humor) between Obama and Letterman which came absolutely free.

Letterman started with recent racist remarks mentioning the Jimmy Carter comments in the media. On which Barack replied, “It’s important to realize that I was actually black before the election.” He also mentioned the names of the previous president like JFK, Ronald Regan who also went through tough phases when they tried to take some steps out of the box.

He further said,”The American people, I think, gave me this extraordinary honor. That tells you a lot, I think, about where the country is at.” On Healthcare  issue some serious discussions was held on the show.

On a less serious note about another serious topic — health care — Letterman said that when he doesn’t feel good he goes to the CBS nurse. Obama said everyone should have a nurse, but the problem is nearly 30 million people lack insurance.

In hitting familiar notes about his health care plan, Obama said many Americans are confused by misinformation from opponents. “They’re scared of the devil they don’t know,” he said.

In a discussion of foreign policy, Obama said the military remains on pace to withdraw troops from Iraq, though “Afghanistan is a real difficult situation.”

Before sending any more U.S. troops, Obama said he wants to make sure a new Afghanistan strategy is worthy of the risks. He said the main threat in Afghanistan remains “extremists who want to kill innocents.”

Emma Watson, the beautiful actress of Harry Potter Series was on Late Show With David Letterman recently when Mr. Letterman popped the much awaited question of her Wardrobe Malfunction.

And to my surprise she handled it quite well and replied, “At least I was wearing underwear!” Emma cracked, before admitting, “I’m still learning.”

David Letterman first joked about Sarah Palin and her Daughter on his show and then the next day rendered an apology for his comments about Palin and her Daughter. As a group of people shouted opposite CBS Office that “Letterman should be fired,” Letterman had to take his words back and render an apology to Alaska Governor.

He made headlines last week about his joke on Palin’s 18-year-old daughter Bristol and former New York Gov. Elliott Spitzer and New York Yankee star Alex Rodriguez. He Said that New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez had “knocked up” the former vice-presidential nominee’s daughter during a family trip to a baseball game. Palin thought Letterman was referring to her 14-year-old daughter Willow, not Bristol and a war of words began.

After all the drama this is what Letterman read on the very same platform he used to joke about Palin, yes that’s right on his show. This was his statement:-

“I told a joke that was beyond flawed, and my intent is completely meaningless compared to the perception” of the joke by viewers, he said during Monday’s taping of “Late Night with David Letterman. And since it was a joke I told, I feel that I need to do the right thing here and apologize for having told that joke. It’s not your fault that it was misunderstood, it’s my fault.”

He further also apologized to her daughters. He said,”I would like to apologize especially to the two daughters involved, Bristol and Willow, and also to the Governor and her family and everybody else who was outraged by the joke. I’m sorry about it and I’ll try to do better in the future.”

Well if I am right then this is the first time David Letterman had to apologize for joking about someone in his long witty career. What do you think????

Ben Stiller’s Portrayal of Joaquin Phoenix was the moment of the day at the Oscars for me. Ben along with the beautiful Natalie Portman arrived on stage to announce the award for Best Cinematography.

Ben Stiller’s performance was so spot on that even Natalie had hard time to stop her laugh and and announce the awards. Ben tried to copy Joaquin’s actions when he recently gave interview at Late Night with David Letterman.

Ben just put his chewing gum on the desk when Natalie told him how can he chew the Oscar awards. Also when Natalie was announcing awards he was wondering on stage like a crazy guy.

Kate Hudson made an appearance on “Late Show with David Letterman” on Monday evening in New York City. Kate as always was looking super beautiful in a shiny green dress that she sported for the occasion and greeted the fans outside warmly.

Kate was on the show to promote her upcoming comedy film “Bride Wars,” which also stars Anne Hathway. The story revolves around two friends but then start to hate each other after they came to know that their marriage date is gonna be the same.

The whole movie is on the fact that how these two friends turn foe and how they try to disturb each other’s marriage. David started the show by giving a little smooch on kate’s lips and you might wonder when you’ll come to know that Kate is one who initiated first.
