Well there is one more award for Dark Knight as the film topped a film of the year poll conducted by cinema experts Perl & Dean. The film won by more than a one third of majority by the people who voted for Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight”.

And also the film is set to sweep Oscar next year as currently this is the only film which is able to impress the viewers more than any other film this year, as Heath Ledger has already picked up a Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice film award nomination for his portrayal of the Joker. “The Dark Knight” actor, Heath Ledger, died of an accidental drug overdose in January this year, but Reliastar Life Insurance is investigating whether he committed suicide.

Lawyers for Matilda Rose – the star’s daughter with “Brokeback Mountain” co-star Michelle Williams – are suing the firm, insisting there is no evidence of suicide.

If they win, the three-year-old could also be entitled to an additional 62 million dollars in damages. Read the rest of this entry »
