ADVERTISEMENTS

michael jackson return announcement

Michael Jackson Died Yesterday (25th June, 2009) hours after he was rushed to the UCLA hospital, Los Angeles, due to a sudden Cardiac Arrest at the age of 50. Yes the King of Pop is no more. I mean i still can’t believe that Michael Jackson is no more. Michael Sold more than 750 million records over his career and perhaps it won’t be exaggerating if say that we have lost the world’s most famous person till date. And there won’t be any Michael Jackson any more.

As Sun Times Puts it:-

As the music world begins to assess the complicated legacy of the man who crowned himself the King of Pop, there is no denying that Michael Jackson’s climb from humble beginnings amid the belching smokestacks of Gary, Ind., to the top of the charts and worldwide superstardom will rank beside those of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and the Beatles as one of the most extraordinary rags-to-riches stories ever.

As Newsday Puts it:-

Painfully shy in person, the man behind “Thriller,” the biggest-selling album in history, was a legendary dynamo in front of a crowd, raising the spectacle of pop concerts to a new level. Known for a lengthy string of upbeat pop hits both by himself on “Thriller” and with his brothers in the Jackson 5, he seemed increasingly sad and troubled in his personal life. A longtime supporter of children, the 50-year-old had been dogged for years by child molestation accusations, though he was eventually acquitted of all charges in a trial that played out as an international soap opera in 2005.

As LATimes Puts it:-

Thriller” – his second solo effort as an adult – was released in November 1982 and spent a record 37 weeks at No. 1, producing an unparalleled seven Top 10 singles. In March 1983, Jackson debuted his moonwalk dance to “Billie Jean” on the TV special “Motown 25: Yesterday, Today and Forever.” Michael Jackson earned an Emmy nod for best performance in a variety or music program. He lost to opera diva Leontyne Price for her concert with the New York Philharmonic on “Live From Lincoln Center.”

At the Grammys in February 1984, Jackson shared in seven of the eight awards won by the album (the exception was for best engineered recording). Michael Jackson shared the wins for album of the year and producer of the year (non-classical) with “Thriller” collaborator Quincy Jones, who also produced his Grammy-winning children’s recording.

I just wanted to say one thing for sure in the end. Michael Jackson was a simple person and nobody perhaps could have understood him. Everyone just made use of him for their own purpose and then threw him in the trash after making use of him. The world has lost its sheen as we have lost our real talent, the talent which we will never see again. If his close friends are to be believed, he felt really lonely at the time of his death. There was no one who he could believe and feared that he would die soon. I guess He already knew his time was over. Perhaps We could have given him just a little more respect. Michael Jackson we will alwayz miss you. Thank You For Entertaining Us. Love You Michael Jackson.
