The Country Superstar Kenny Chesney has come up with a new album “Kenny Chesney Greatest Hits 2,” which includes 12 singles and 1 original “Out Last Night,” was released on May 19, 2009. He also appeared on David Letterman to promote his brand new album.
Everyone knows that Kenny Chesney has almost dominated the Country market single handedly over the years and he is one of the most creative that we have right now. His debut album In My Wildest Dreams was a smash hit too and no doubts that Forbes magazine ranks him as the highest earning country singer with an income of more than $65 million alone in 2008. He has many awards on his name over the years like Country Music Awards and Academy Country Music Awards.
He has recently also on David Letterman to promote Kenny Chesney Greatest Hits 2 even though he didn’t need much of a promotion. Kenny Chesney has been a dream country singer and recently also gave an interview about his journey to the top and his life on and off the stage to CBS 60 minutes Anderson Cooper.
This is what Kenny had to say about his new album:-
“I look at the list of songs on this Greatest Hits II record, and I know why they mean somethin’ to me. I mean, I can look at every song and tell you why I wrote a specific song or why I recorded that specific song. Each one of these songs takes me to a different place on stage. Each song takes me to a relationship, it takes me to a break-up, or it takes me to new love, old love; it takes me to a night onstage when the people were singin’ one of these songs back to me so loud that I couldn’t have ever have dreamt it.”
