Ethan Zohn And Jenna Morasca Battle With Cancer

Ethan Zohn, aged 35, the curly-haired smart soccer player who came into limelight after winning Survivor: Africa is diagnosed with cancer and his long time girlfriend Jenna Morasca,Survivor: The Amazon winner,aged 27, is there to support him and says that I will fight with every fabric of my being to get him through this.

This is a real shocking news as no one had ever thought that a fit guy like him can have a cancer so this has come as a real shocker. It all started when his body started to itch continously and sweat too at nights which doctors originally thought may be a type of skin disease. However later they discovered a swollen lymph node under his left clavicle, and a CT scan revealed a mass on the left side of his chest. Tehonly they discovered taht Zohn has a rare form of cancer called CD20-positive Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and the process of chemotherapy immediately started on friday.

Zohn showed a true sportsman’s spirit when he talked to People recently,”This is the ultimate game of Survivor. and there’s really only one outcome, and that’s to win. There’s no other option.” He also further explained that in this type of cancer the survival rate is around 90%. He had a family history with his parents being affected and died because of cancer. That’s why Zohn and doctors don’t want to take any risks. They want to make sure that they eliminate it completely.

In the end he said that he is ready to fight his battle against cancer and let’s pray to God that he emerges victorious in this battle.
