You might be Rich is a program on Dateline MSNBC (dateline.msnbc.com) which helps you check unclaimed money and put your claims on it. The program helps you in searching for unclaimed money in your state.
This is what MSNBC had to say about this program:-
Most states don’t have the staff come out and find you. But if it’s there, you can find it on your own. This list has been updated as of 4/23/09. Some Web sites may be experiencing high traffic and may be unavailable. We suggest checking back at a later time. Having trouble? Disable your pop-up blocke. All you have to do is use the links above, or log onto unclaimed.org (not unclaimed.com). Just pick a state you or any member of your family has ever worked in or played in, type in the name, and within seconds you can find out if this is your lucky day. It is all absolutely free, and you should exercise caution in accepting any offers from paid finders. (Also note that unclaimed.org seems to be experiencing some technical difficulties, so you may have to check back at a later time.)
The show rebroadcasts tonight and then May 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
One person has already got lucky in these tough times. He has already claimed one million dollars from the Illinois State Treasury. So you never know, you might get lucky this time. You never know.
