Princess Letizia meets Carla Bruni (Pictures)

Princess Letizia (wife of Crown Prince Felipe) of Spain met glamor Doll Carla Bruni of France and when they came face to face, Spanish press called it a “a duel of elegance and glamor” moment which truly it was.

Carla Bruni wore a violet dress and Princess Letizia wore a raspberry dress when they met for the first time over lunch in Madrid. Spanish media is almost going crazy because of the similarity that these two have in their looks. They look so alike that there is really difficult to differentiate between them just like twins.

The assembled snappers were shocked to see Bruni kiss the Queen on both cheeks rather than curtsying, but a spokesman for the royal family explained diplomatically that a curtsy before a Spanish monarch “is not an absolute obligation, but a habit adopted by some people”.

This trip is also special because of Sarkozy remark on Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero “not very smart” comment just two weeks ago as they are scheduled to attend a summit today.
