The New york based Grammy-nominated Gospel Legend Timothy Wright died at the age of 61, late on Thursday, April 23, 2009, in the Bronx Veterans Hospital.
Timothy survived a car crash July last year, which also killed his wife Betty, 58, and grandson, D.J., 14, while they were returning from a Church of God in Christ conference in Detroit on July 4,2008.
He had been paralyzed from the chest down but vowed to return to the pulpit at the church he and his wife, Betty, started nearly two decades ago – Grace Tabernacle Christian Center in Crown Heights.
Wright was the pastor of the Brooklyn-based ministry, Grace Tabernacle Christian Center Church of God in Christ. May God bless his soul.
