Tom Cruise is back on msnbc Today’s Show once again. More than three years after Tom called Matt Lauer as “Gilb”, he said on Monday’s Today show that he “came across arrogant.”
Tom Cruise was on the show to promote his new film “Valkyrie”, based on the real life story of a foiled assassination plot attempted on Adolf Hitler’s Life. However along the way he talked on many other topics excluding his film.
“After looking at it, it’s not what I had intended,” Cruise told Lauer. “That’s one of those things that you go, ‘I could have handled that better.’ I didn’t communicate it the way that I wanted to communicate it. That’s not who I am.”
Cruise was a bit skeptical when asked questions about Scientology. He clarified, “I just think there’s a time and a place for it,” he said. “But when people are tuning in to hear about my movie, that’s what I’m here to talk about it.”
Tom Cruise also said that he felt thrilled after reading the script of his upcoming film “Valkyrie.” I hope the audience feels the same way after watching the film, Mr. Cruise.
