The Dark Knight Crosses $500million at Box Office

The Dark Knight has become only second movie in the Box Office History to cross that magic figure of $500 million. It became the second film to gather that much of amount at the box office. Now Titanic is the only film which is ahead of The Dark Knight with  $600,788,188 in all time collections.

During the past weekend Ben Stiller starrer Tropic Thunder again emerged as a winner for the third consecutive week earning $14.3 million and Babylon A.D. is lagging behind at the second with top earnings of $12 million, while The Dark Knight stays at the third spot with $11.2 million.

Still The Dark Knight is giving a tough fight at the Box Office…Kudos….!!!!

Box Office Report

1st – Tropic Thunder, received $14.3 million in its third weekend.

2nd – Babylon A.D., opened with $12 million.

3rd – The Dark Knight another $11.2 million.

4th – The House Bunny, fell making $10.2 million.

5th – Traitor, $10 million.

6th – Death Race, fell $8.2 million.

7th – Disaster Movie, opened with $6.8 million.

8th – Mamma Mia!, $5.7 million.

9th – Pineapple Express, $4.5 million.

10th – Vicky Cristina Barcelona $3.5 million.
