Following a night in which she was honored for her humanitarian ways, Natalie Portman attended her debut as a director in “Eve” as she opened the short films section of the Venice Film Festival on Monday (September 1).
Dressed casually in a t-shirt and jeans, the “My Blueberry Nights” sweetheart arrived to the the Westin Excelsior Resort by boat – posing for pictures and greeting fans on her way inside. As for “Eve”, the short film concerns “a young woman named Kate, who visits her grandma Lola for dinner, and is surprised to find her grandma is on a date with a man named Joe.”
The cast for the romantic comedy includes American film actress and former model, Lauren Bacall, as well as “Anatomy of a Murder” star Ben Gazzara.
